Recipe for Lower Back Pain | Huiji Bak Kut Teh
Ingredients:
Pork Rib – 1kg (cut into pieces)
Dang shen – 30g
Red dates – 30g (remove seeds)
Longan – 15g
Chuan Xiong – 10g
Gan cao – 3 slice
Bei Qi – 20g
Wolfberries – 15g
Yu Zhu – 50g
Chen pi – 3 slice
Huiji Waist Tonic – 3-4 cups (Huiji measuring cup)
Methods:
- Bring pork ribs to a boil, drain, set aside
- Wash dang shen,red dates, longan, chuan xiong, gan cao, bei qi, wolfberries, yu zhu, chen pi, put them into a big pot, pour in 3 litres of water, bring to a boil over high heat, boil for another 1 hour over low heat
- Add in pork ribs, simmer for another 1 hour till pork is tender, to taste
- Turn off heat, pour in 3-4 cups of Huiji Waist Tonic
